Pride Committee Thanks Logo Contestants

The Pride Committee wishes to thank all the artists who submitted sketches to the Pride Logo Contest. There were 15 submissions and on June 2nd, all the ideas were reviewed individually by the committee in a blind process (they did not know who the artists were). The submissions were all so interesting and we are grateful for contestants’ input. We did select a concept and are now proceeding to have it put in a graphic form professionally, which will be unveiled along with the artist’s name during Pride Week, Aug 30 to Sept 6th. Thanks again to all contestants for […]

Message from Dr. Pat Campbell, Calgary CSL

Hi all. I was asked to write something uplifting this week, in light of the world’s events. Usually writing uplifting pieces comes pretty easily to me. However, I found it particularly challenging, because, like many of you, I was caught up in the world of effect at this time. So I went to my go-to book by Ernest Holmes, the founder of our teaching. Message on Racism from Dr. Edward Viljeon, Spiritual Leader of Centers for Spiritual Living

Racism in the United States. Centers for Spiritual Living calls for it to end! We are grieving lives that ought not to have been lost. Too many generations have suffered and it has never been, and is not now, acceptable. We denounce racism in all its forms: the starkness of unapologetic, intentional racism; the racism of silence in the face of […]

Pride Logo Contest

Announcing our Pride Logo Contest!   You are invited to help create a Pride logo for our community. NOTE: it does not need to be a professionally finished product. We are looking for a wonderful concept that can be developed. It should show our Pride identity with our CSL philosophy of Oneness and Wholeness. Pride celebrates the LGBTQ2 community and its supporters, plus honours all diversity and the uniqueness of all individuals. This Pride logo will not replace our CCSL logo. It will be used separately on some occasions, such as the Pride Parade and used together with the CCSL logo on […]
