Besides being a member of the CCSL community, Sonia Deleo is a Calgary based singer-songwriter who works in a half pitch of musical grandiosity and sensitive poetics. Capable of enormous operatic crescendos and full-hearted intimacy, her warmth, wit, and drama feel at home in all the wide-ranging genres she works in. Fusing folk, soul, and rock, her masterful vocals remain at the core of her work and lift it into an enormous collection far more than the sum of its parts. Stirring ballads of love, abandonment, and redemption, a quality of storytelling shines through all of her songs, making clear a distinct personality and an unflinching point of view.

Expect to be treated to an amazing voice and spectacular songwriting for this 90 minute concert in our Sanctuary.
