What is Laughter Yoga you ask?

Laughter yoga is a combination of breath work, laughter exercises and gentle stretches. We choose to laugh with no comedy, jokes or humour. Not that LY isn’t funny, it is hilarious! Using a combination of the above mentioned activities, along with positive affirmations you will boost your brain chemicals! Some of the documented benefits of laughter yoga are reduction of anxiety, depression, loneliness, stress, and tension. It decreases the cortisol serum, thus providing an antidote for the harmful effects of stress! 

Laughter Yoga increases production of endorphins and serotonin, improves ventilation, thus helping reduce chronic respiratory conditions. (We could go on and on.)

Laughter Yoga can change your perspective, improve mental functions, improve self esteem, as well as restore hope and energy. Lastly, but not least, it exercises and relaxes muscles throughout the body, helps move nutrients and oxygen to body tissues and helps to improve immune functions.
