“How we long for a return of that simple trust in life which children have; in their minds there are no doubts…”
- Ernest Holmes

Funday for Kids
Funday is a safe space for kids aged 4 – 11 to explore their own creative expression, while their parent/guardian is attending Sunday Services. Sign-in for Funday is available any time after 9:30 AM to ensure parents and guardians can attend morning meditation. During Funday, we engage in spiritual practice through concepts such as mindfulness and meditation. We typically do activities and crafts that are based on our concept of the day, which the kids can take home. Funday holds space for children to have meaningful conversations and deepen their sense of self at their own pace. If you would like to know more about our Funday program or sign up as a volunteer, please reach out to our Funday Coordinator, Rachel Anderson.
Funday Coordinator, Rachel Anderson
I’ve been attending the Centre for Spiritual Living since I was 3 years old and it is my greatest privilege to be able to teach Funday, which is a program I cherished deeply as a child. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Funday for several years and I am honoured to be the Funday Coordinator. This delegation is meaningful for me because I believe that education is empowering and the opportunity to teach fulfills my greatest passion. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Sociology and a minor in Religious Studies.
